This year at Pioneer I've tried out for the volleyball team and the auxiliary team. To begin with, I have tried out for the volleyball team. I went to the volleyball tryouts because I like playing volleyball and I thought it would be a good choice to try out and be on a sports team. Volleyball tryouts was a great experience even though I didn’t make the team, I still got to experience practicing with the girls in the volleyball team.
Another activity that I have done this school year is be on the school’s auxiliary team. Being on the auxiliary team is a wonderful thing because it's nice to hear people cheering for the band and the auxiliary team. It’s a wonderful experience because it's nice doing something important for the school. In conclusion, trying out for the volleyball team was exciting because I got to learn new thing’s and being part of the auxiliary team is exciting to hear people cheer for you.

One of my favorite activities this year is the doughnut eating challenge for ASB candidates, which was really fun and challenging. To begin, Mr. Gammon, the activities director, hung doughnuts on a string, that was connected to a pole, and candidates attempted to eat the entire doughnut off the string. I really enjoyed trying to eat the doughnut off the string because it kept moving and I tried to keep up with it. Everyone tried their best but most doughnuts fell before they were finished being eaten but it was all fun and games. Although it was fun, It was really hard and challenging trying to try and eat the doughnut off the string. Candidates were not allowed to use their hands to help them eat their doughnuts. The doughnuts were swinging back and forth and candidates chased their doughnuts with there mouths attempting to finish eating their doughnut. In conclusion, the doughnut eating challenge was really fun and challenging for ASB candidates.
